Price list for illegal drugs displayed in school yard

A graffiti displaying a list of illegal narcotics and their prices was found in the yard of a high school in the town of Čačak, central Serbia.

The school is training future food and restaurant industry workers.

The local police administration said that crime lab technicians were sent to the scene to take photos and collect samples, and were working to identify the perpetrators.

The unusually brazen form of drug trafficking prompted a reaction from the school's headmaster, Dragan Kovačević:

"In the eight years since the school was established nothing of this sort happened. I hope the authorities will do everything to find the perpetrators, while my message to the parents is that they have no cause for concern, their children are safe."

However, some parents have voiced their concern, and urged the school to insist on finding and punishing those who displayed the list.

On the other hand, the school's students who spoke to reporters were less surprised, saying they "found it curious that there was no phone number" attached to the message.

The list contained "valid black market prices" for a variety of drugs, including skunk, LSD, heroin, ecstasy, and speed.
