Fake bomb alert in power company's office in south

Serbian police (MUP) has announced that a tip-off was received on Monday about an explosive device allegedly planted inside the EPS business premises in Raška.

The Serbian state power company (EPS) said in a statement that the tip-off turned out to be false.

The building in the southern town was evacuated, after which officers of the police bomb squad searched the premises, it was also said.

The incident came after EPS issued a statement condemning the "pressure" exerted on the company's workers while performing their regular duties.
