He was extradited to the Hague Tribunal five days later.

Mladić is charged with genocide, crimes against humanity and violation of the rules and customs of war.

Hague Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz said during his recent visit to Serbia that Serbian authorities' cooperation continued to fully meet expectations when it comes to providing access to documents and archives but stressed that the country needed to step up the investigation into a network of the Hague fugitives’ helpers.
