Serbs, Albanians clash in K. Mitrovica

Five people have suffered minor injuries during clashes between Serbs and Albanians in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. "A group of Serbs gathered round and stood in their path, and that’s when the clashes broke out. They used crowbars and wooden bats,” Vasovic said. Immediately after the incident, that part of Mitrovica was cordoned off by UN police and KFOR. Serb National Council President Milan Ivanovic told Tanjug that ethnic Albanians had come to the northern part of the town with the clear intention of provoking an incident.
