Ratko Buturovic, the president of Vojvodina FC, has been arrested in Novi Sad today. The Serbian police (MUP) has confirmed for B92 that the head of the largest football club in the northern province of Vojvodina is now in their custody. Beside regular police, riot and Gendarmerie officer were also seen on the location. Buturovic, who also owns Novi Sad's Park Hotel, is suspected of match fixing. Match fixing scandal: Vojvodina FC president arrested

Police officers were out in force to surround Buturović's home this afternoon, as their colleagues raided the premises to make the arrest.

Beside regular police, riot and Gendarmerie officer were also seen on the location.
