According to B92’s sources, Indjija mayor Goran Jesic was assaulted late last night. Jesic was out walking with his wife when, according to sources, he was physically attacked by an unknown assailant. Indjija mayor comes under attack Jesic was not hurt in the incident and the police were soon at the scene. It is speculated that Jesic’s recent statement that he would be dealing with organized crime in the municipality sparked the attack.
