Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said this on Wednesday, at the opening of a new Hemofarm pharmaceutical company's plant in Vrsac, northeastern Serbia.

"This could happen within the next 12 months," he said.

Four-percent growth will mean that people will have higher salaries and pensions, in the public and the private sector alike, Vucic said.

"If we have four percent, that will be a proof that we are becoming a successful country," Vucic noted, adding that this was crucial for Serbia.
