EPS, Statkraft strike deal

On the occasion, Deputy General Director of the Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) Zoran Manasijević and chief executive officer of the Norwegian company Statkraft Bard Mikkelsen signed a protocol on cooperation between these two companies, SMT reports.

The document envisages preparatory activities for revitalization of Zvornik hydroelectric power plant, as well as close cooperation in the sector of trade in electric energy. Naumov and Blankenborg emphasised the good cooperation between the two countries thus far in the energy sector, and pointed out the possibility of its further expansion, in the area of hydro energy as well as in the field of renewable energy sources.
