  2. it's kind of hypocrisy when a country like Turkey demands that Serbia recognizes the Srebrenica genocide while Turkey is not ready and willing to accept their own (much bigger) genocide.

Not sure where the hypocrisy is.

The fact that Srebrenica was genocide has been determined by the UN beyond reasonable doubt.

Regarding what happened with the Armenians, it was obviously a terrible crime. But there is not any UN determination or global agreement that it was genocide. So not sure why Turkey must accept it as genocide!

  3. Well said.

The Ottoman empire was an abomination built on the blood of non-muslims. To criticise another nation before it owns up to its own bloodbaths is a disgrace.

  4. We should also remember that during WWII, the Nazis and Turks acting through their emissary, the Mufti of Jerusalem, helped organize the Bosniak Muslim SS Handzar Division. For those who don't know, Sarajevo had the largest and most vibrant Jewish community in Eastern Europe, second only to Thessaloniki. After WWII, they were all gone. I won't even get into 1.5 million Armenians slaughtered by the Turks. Yea... they really are in no position to lecture anyone.

  5. Dacic then asked how Turkey would react "if Serbia were to condemn the killing of a million Armenians and call it genocide."

Oh, this is clear how Turkey would react. You could see it before, since many other countries already condemned the Armenian genocide committed by the Osman empire. Last Turkish reactions you could observe when German parliament adopted the Armenian genocide resolution.

So yes, it's kind of hypocrisy when a country like Turkey demands that Serbia recognizes the Srebrenica genocide while Turkey is not ready and willing to accept their own (much bigger) genocide.
