Djuric arrives in Kosovo despite Pristina's ban

Djuric spoke with journalists in the town of Leposavic in northern Kosovo to say he was "doing his job as usual" and that he informed international representatives in Kosovo of his trip.

"I somehow don't see any of those who spoke about bans here, I am in Kosovo and Metohija, I'm doing my job as usual. It is in our interest and we are here creating the conditions for our people to live, we bother nobody, we want cooperation, we want all people in Kosovo and Metohija to live normal lives," said Djuric.

He stressed that his behavior was "completely different than that of those who think they can speak the language of hatred, conflict, and of creating problems in kosovo and Metohija."

Djuric is not the only official from central Serbia whom the authorities in Kosovo said they had banned from entering in recent days, Tanjug said in its report.
