A new workstation for processing MRI data, donated by the U.S. Army, was put into operation at the Clinical Center of Serbia (KCS) in Belgrade.

U.S. donates MRI workstation to Clinical Center

It will halve the time in which patients receive diagnostic results.

The workstation cost USD 100,000 and the money was provided by the United States European Command.

The U.S. ambassador said he was very pleased to see the equipment, the latest technology which would greatly improve diagnostic work, installed and working.

It is a great pleasure to see the good doctors you have that will work with the new equipment for the future of Serbia. I am grateful to the European Command for providing the funds, the ambassador told reporters.
