Poll: Vucic is Serbia's most popular politician

In periods of surges in popularity, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has the support of up to half a million citizens more than his SNS party.

Poll: Vucic is Serbia's most popular politician

Head of the opinion polls division within the research agency Marko Uljarevic told Belgrade-based daily Blic that from May to September the Serbian prime minister and SNS leader “has seen a tremendous rise in popularity”, especially among young and highly educated people.

According to the latest survey, the SNS enjoys the support of 52 percent of citizens that would go to the polls, the Socialist Party of Serbia - 10 percent, the Democratic Party and the Dveri Movement - five percent each. Other parties, excluding the parties of national minorities, would be below the election threshold.
