Working groups will be set up to organize the overhaul of Russian helicopters, said the prime minister, noting that experts would be called in and a large number of people hired for the job.

Vucic added that he and Putin "also talked about the two countries' cooperation in defense industry."

Vucic also revealed that he and his host discussed "the problem of export of Fiat vehicles to the countries of the Eurasian Union," and that he "expects it will be solved."

He told reporters that he"again mentioned in the talks with the Russian president the export of cars made by the Kragujevac-based Fiat factory to the Russian market."

"I said that we have learned that this would be a problem for Kazakhstan, I guess because of the vehicles that they produce. President Putin said that he will hold talks on the issue and that he thinks that the problem will be solved," Vucic said.

He also announced on Thursday that a lower price has been agreed with the Russian partners which will apply to gas shipped to Azotara in Pancevo and the MSK plant in Kikinda.

"It now remains for an agreement to be reached concerning technical matters but we have reached an agreement in principle for Azotara and MSK to be granted a lower price for gas delivery," Vucic told reporters after the meeting with Putin.

He recalled that an agreement for expansion of the gas storage facility in Banatski Dvor has been achieved, and expressed the belief that an agreement would also be reached on construction of the storage facility in Itebej.

This would enable Serbia to store 2 billion cubic meters of gas which is enough to meet its annual needs and ensure energy stability, Vucic said.
