"It is about providing an orderly, controlled entry into our country, and not about closing the borders," she told Austria's public broadcaster O1.
In recent days, she said, it was observed that some groups of refugees have become increasingly impatient and were aggressive.
Mikl-Leitner told Germany's Bavaria, whose government has in recent days harshly criticized Austria, that Germany's announcement it would not expel Syrians had affected the wave of refugees.
"Signals cause reactions, and we feel those reactions," said the Austrian minister.
Austrian Defense Minister Gerald Klug has said that "the building measures that have been ordered" can be containers or a temporary fence so that refugees can be controlled in an orderly manner.
Klug pointed out that, when implementing these measures, the humane approach should not be lost, "which has been trampled by the barbed wire in Hungary."
Vice-President of the European Parliament Ulrike has spoken against fences and walls on borders.
In a statement to the Austrian state broadcaster ORF she said it was an indicator of failure, and that the money should be used to accommodate refugees in containers.
. I read some were that Arkans son still lives in Sweden, how many kilos do you think he traffics anually to those Malmo slums full of ex-yugoslavs like you.

With all these walls going up, it makes you wonder if more than illegal immigrants have been sneaking across these borders.

Remind me, is this the Austria that called Hungary 'Nazi' a few weeks ago for building a fence for the protection of its borders? Oh ... my ... how quickly things change ...

You are probably right and Serbia will be the last country to close its borders. But even if it is, it won't be stuck with these Moslem migrants. The migrants want the EU paradise they have heard about and poor little Serbia is no better than Turkey from which they fled. The migrants will cross into the EU even if takes them a little longer. A similar situation exists in Calais in which migrants have gathered to get into Britain. It may take a few weeks, but they all manage to cross the English Channel to get to this wonderful country. Migrants stuck in Serbia will all cross into the EU.

We will be the last to build a wall before it is too late, and we are trying to join the EU too late. Would be nice to be ahead of the curve for once.

Did you forgot all those Serbian criminals in Swedish and German jails, Zoran. Didn't a serbian gangster even extort King of Sweden. Yeah yeah, they all albos and gypsies because holy serbs can't do anything wrong, right. The ironic part is that Austria was the first country that recognized this pointless entity named "Slovenia"...

The EU, US and NATO are all finished. The lies, deception, greed, corruption and pure evilness is coming back to haunt it.
Even its model member, Poland, who the EU liked to point out as its success now has a Eurosceptical party running the country. In fact, it got an outright majority!
Look at Germany and Sweden, hundreds upon hundreds of hotels and accommodation buildings being burnt, to house not just refugees but also migrants from other EU countries.
Barbed wire fences placed between EU members. The UK looking to exit, Scotland wanting independence, Catalonia wanting independence and the list goes on and on.
Meanwhile. Vucic thinks it's a good idea to join this catastrophe. However, I understand it to the point that Serbia is currently occupied by these forces but that's not going to last much longer. The world is changing rapidly for all to see.
Fortunately, we stuck through the hard times and remained loyal to the new powers.

Oh my what a complete mess the EU is becoming, walls going up and democracy in Portugal obstructed, though then again its no surprise.
EU (German dominated) policy created walls across former Yugoslavia and now this (one might say is karma) coming back with walls now being built across the EU itself!
Oh what a tangled web we weave.........
