He added that the Syrian leader held one-on-one talks with the Russian president and then with the participation of Russia’s top officials.
Putin and Assad discussed issues regarding the Russian air strikes, terrorist groups, and Syrian army operation, Peskov said on Wednesday.
"The talks were rather lengthy and the issues discussed are clear enough. The president was informed in detail by the Syrian colleague of the state of affairs in Syria and plans for the future," he added.
The two leaders also spoke about issues regarding continued operations in Syria of the Russian Aerospace Force and of the Syrian army, the fight against terrorists in Syria and various aspects of bilateral relations.
Russia launched its campaign of air strikes targeting Islamic State jihadis on September 20.

Thanks for the explanation ! Because some of the international issues influence Serbia more than the local ones. Besides the comments were placed in 20-25 hours that made any discussion impossible. I like it here and so I was disappointed. To say nothing that spiritually Serbs are the closest European people to the Russians.
Just finalizing his exile plans. Assad will be in Russia within the next year or two living out the rest of his criminal life. Maybe he can be buds with other notable criminals living in Russia like Victor Yanukovych and Milosevic's family?

Congratulations to everybody! After 28 days of total silence b92 has finally mentioned the news of the world ! I wonder if the next news about Syria will appear in another month. As if the refugees arrive here from the moon. As if the fate of Serbia depends on the stone thrown at the bus but not the US-Russian relations.
