Rama to Mustafa: Merkel is dissatisfied

Rama told Mustafa that German Chancellor Merkel - who recently visited Tirana, and then Belgrade - was dissatisfied with the lack of progress in the EU-facilitated dialogue on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

Tanjug reported that, quoting the sources from the Albanian government, the website Express said that Rama "conveyed messages of Merkel to Kosovo officials that she is dissatisfied with the destruction caused by the Kosovo side in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue."

The stumbling block in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue is the formation of the community of Serb municipalities in the north of Serbia's southern province.

Tanjug also quoted the Albanian language website Indeksonline that said Rama conferred with Pristina officials on joint projects between Kosovo and Albania and the situation in the region ahead of a summit of the Western Balkan countries in Vienna.

The meeting was also attended by the ministers of foreign affairs of Kosovo and Albania, Hashim Thaci and Ditmir Bushati.
