Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic received the credential letters of the newly appointed German Ambassador to Serbia Alex Dittman on Thursday.

Nikolic receives credentials from new German ambassador

The Greman ambassador stressed, on the occasion, that Serbia and Germany share the same goal - Serbia's membership in the EU. The European Union would not be complete without Serbia in it, he stressed.

Dittman inferred that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Germany have intensified recently and that during his term of office he will do everything in his power to improve and advance them.

Upon receiving the credentials, Nikolic estimated the two countries' relations as good and cooperative in all areas and evaluated a high level of dialogue and an upward trend.

Germany's reputation in Serbia is growing daily owing to the economic collaboration, said Nikolic, adding that the area exceeds in improvement potentials.
