"No changes in Serbia's relations with Sarajevo"

Nikolic's visit to Sarajevo was scheduled for June 16, but a day earlier Bosniak member of the Bosnian Presidency Bakir Izetbegovic asked that the visit be postponed until wartime commander of Muslim forces Naser Oric has been released from extradition custody in Switzerland.

Oric was arrested on June 10 in Thonex, Switzerland, based on a warrant issued by Interpol Serbia for the crimes against Serbs in the Srebrenica area.

Mrkic said that "Nikolic will go to Sarajevo when the invitation is renewed, as the visit was only postponed and not cancelled".

Nikolic was supposed to start his first official visit to Bosnia as the president of Serbia with a visit to Sarajevo on Tuesday, after which he would have traveled to Banja Luka, RS.
