Belgrade to hand over cadastral information to Pristina

The cadastral documentation from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija is in the possession of the Republic Geodetic Authority of Serbia (RGZ), and once it is converted from analogue to digital form, digital and electronic copies of the complete documentation will be handed over to Pristina, it was said at the opening of the RGZ Archive, into which the EU has invested EUR 3 million.

Pursuant to the Brussels Agreement, Belgrade has assumed the obligation to transfer to Pristina all cadastral data from the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, said the State Secretary at the Ministry of Construction Aleksandra Damnjanovic.

The renovation of the RGZ building in Belgrade is a part of a project aimed at an exchange of cadastral information between Pristina and Belgrade, Damnjanovic said.

The complete cadastral documentation from Kosovo and Metohija will be scanned here in order to establish a database that will be handed over to Pristina through EU mediation, Damnjanovic said.
