Average net salary in Serbia at EUR 380

The average net monthly salary in Serbia in April was RSD 45,605 (some EUR 380) - up 5.8 percent in nominal and 5.3 percent in real terms compared to March.

However, the average net salary in April was down by 0.5 percent in nominal terms and by 2.3 percent in real terms compared to the same month of last year.

The average gross salary in April 2015 amounted to RSD 62,532 and was up by 5.7 percent in nominal terms and by 5.2 percent in real terms compared to the previous month, and down by 1.0 percent in nominal terms and by 2.8 percent in real terms compared to the same month of last year.

The average net salary in the period between January and April 2015 was down by 0.3 percent in nominal terms and by 1.4 percent in real terms compared to the same period of last year, with the gross salary down by 0.6 percent in nominal terms and by 1.7 percent in real terms, the Statistical Office said.
