Vucic offers condolences to Merkel and Rajoy

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic expressed his condolences to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

Vucic offers condolences to Merkel and Rajoy

Vucic said Serbia was deeply grieved to learn about the news of the plane crash in southern France that killed 144 passengers and six crew members.

He stressed that the tragic death of those people was an immeasurable loss to their countries and to the whole world, according to a release from the Serbian government’s media relations office.

"Indeed, in this dark hour of sorrow, words are inadequate to console those who had lost their loved ones and the German and Spanish nations," Vucic said, expressing his firm belief that the governments of the two countries would have the strength to offer all the support the families of those who had died might need.
