BELGRADE The Republic of Serbia has nominated part of its territory for the UNESCO Mura-Drava-Danube Transboundary Biosphere Reserve. According to Tanjug, it is the first protected biosphere region in the world, jointly managed by five countries - Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Austria.
