In a statement for Tanjug, Stefanovic said that Serbia "fulfilled the promises it made concerning the Brussels agreement, and now it only wants a fair continuation of the talks which will ensure a normal situation in Kosovo and Metohija." Stefanovic said that he expressed gratitude to Austria for its principled support to Serbia's EU path and to all the reforms Serbia is conducting, especially in the fight against crime and corruption, as well as those in the economy sector. He said that he informed Lopatka about the current situation in Serbia and the changes after the government reshuffle and the plans for European integration, especially in connection to the work of the parliament and the parliament committees which will be monitoring the European integration process in the future. Stefanovic said that the cooperation between the two chambers of commerce has been qualified as positive, and that the officials said that further cooperation would be realised on the state level. Stefanovic's talks with Lopatka also covered the position of Serb community in Austria. "We are satisfied with the way in which the Serb community is represented in Vienna and Austria," Stefanovic said and added that during the talks, the officials also sought modes to enhance the position of the Serb community so that it could get the status of an autochthon minority.
