BELGRADE The police in Kragujevac early on Wednesday "cut an explosives smuggling route" near the small town of Batocina. The explosives were being smuggled out of the Resavica mines in Krepoljina. 103 kilos of explosives stolen from mine in central Serbia Head of the Police Administration in Kragujevac Ivan Djorovic told Tanjug that 103 kilograms of explosives and 300 detonators were seized. Three Resavica miners have been arrested - brothers Sladjan and Senad P., and Miodrag S., all residents of the Zagubica municipality. Djorovic noted that the police "had the information that they also smuggled explosives on previous occasions, but in much smaller quantities." The police are now investigating "what intentions were behind the theft of the explosives." According to estimates, the 103 kilograms stolen were worth some EUR 30,000. B92 Tanjug

Head of the Police Administration in Kragujevac Ivan Đorović told Tanjug that 103 kilograms of explosives and 300 detonators were seized.

Three Resavica miners have been arrested - brothers Slađan and Senad P., and Miodrag Š., all residents of the Žagubica municipality.

Đorović noted that the police "had the information that they also smuggled explosives on previous occasions, but in much smaller quantities."

The police are now investigating "what intentions were behind the theft of the explosives."

According to estimates, the 103 kilograms stolen were worth some EUR 30,000.
