Repić has been remanded in custody for 48 hours and placed in a police station in the southern, ethnic Albanian part of Kosovska Mitrovica, said his attorney Ljubo Pantović.
According to him, his client has been arrested on suspicion that he in December last year in Kosovska Mitrovica shot at Deputy Director of the Administrative Office of the Government of Kosovo Dušan Milisaviljević.
The lawyer for Žarko Veselinovića, Miodrag Brkljač, said that Veselinović was "suspected of illegal possession of a gun that he threw away before the arrest."
After yesterday's arrests, local Serbs blocked the Kosovska Mitrovica-Raška road near Rudare. Also, two EULEX police officers were injured in the north when a group of demonstrators threw rocks. Tanjug is reporting that the road remains blocked this morning.
Director of the Government Office for Kosovo Aleksandar Vulin has urged Kosovo Serbs to be "dignified and calm" and wait for the arrested Serbs to be released.
Come on, read more carefully the preachings of true Serb patriots in these forums to understand that the above is not possible considering how heroic and macho the Serbs are vs the cowards Albanians.

Being a Serb is a paradox. You can claim to be the most macho Serb out there and yet at the same time claim you're powerless and a weakling.
You can claim to be a hero, a saviour and at the same time an eternal victim who can't help your own self.
In order to be a good patriot you have to be a good liar ( Serb president said this-We lie to be patriotic).
You can be rich unlike those backward Albanians yet at the same time claim you have no food to eat because of those backwards Albanians.
You can claim you love peace yet fight wars in 4 countries within one decade.
You can claim you are heavenly people yet have your priests pray for the war machinery.
Being a Serb is paradoxical to the point of agony.

You know Comm. even if every single thing you wrote there happens to be true, it's still waaayyyy better than it was under Serbia. Sadly, in a world where you'll always regret one solution, the current one beats the alternative. We saw what Kosova under Serbian rule was like, but then, maybe some are happy to see burning villages

Who's in Kosovo? Mostly US and EU, who try hard to pretend that Kosovo is a success story and a democratic country. But they know what Kosovo is like, the boss of the German secret agency once called Kosovo 'the first mafia state created on European soil', and this is closer to reality than 'democracy'. With a prime minister who became to power through faked elections, with politicians connected to mafia groups or being war criminals, freed only because witnesses who wanted to testify against them disappeared, with a police consisting of former KLA fighters instead of professionals, what kind of state is this? To see a better picture, read the monthly UN reports about Kosovo and you will see what's going wrong there.

I'm from Poland and I and lot of polish people are ashamed, that polish police force oppressed our serbian brothers...

Must be one of the war criminals who fled fearing arrest after the war, as Polish people know what oppression is and it is not allowing criminal elements control an area for 14 years now.

Avni and Rocky you two are really a pair of comedians. Only problem is neither of you are very funny, and your delusionary comments appear to have gone beyond the realms of fantasy.
(Bigotspotter, 31 July 2013 00:37)
It's funny how Serbs are perpetual victims. They suffered at the hands of Croats, Bosnians and Albanians. The heavenly people are forever blameless. One can do nothing but wonder, why the Croats and Bosnians and finally the Albanians decided to break of from the love of the Serbs, who as we all know are never responsible for anything. p.s. speaking of abuse, it'd be good if you returned all those bodies of dead Albanians roting inside Serbia's mass graves.

Thanks for the apology but whatever they have done it pales into insignificance to the abuse and intolerance the Serbs have suffered at the hands of the Albanian majority who have systematically and subtlely cleansed them from their ancient homelands over decades whilst at the same time making out they were the oppressed. The duplicity of these individuals is breathtaking and quite frankly the sooner we no longer have to live amongst them the better. Divorce is a necessity but the assets need to be divided more fairly to reflect the domestic abuse that took place!

Njall, I wish you had lived in Kosova & other Albanian inhabited lands, while under Serbian occupation & their apartheid system! You would have been witness, to the opprission inflicted upon the Albanian majority, they were the ones that were brutally oppressed, for so many decades!
Lech Walesa would have never allowed the polish people to suffer so much, had the polish people been in the same position as the Albanians! So please understand, the Serbs are in no way being oppressed, they use the tool of false & misguiding pretenses, so they can in some way try to sway some world opinion, to their unjust cause! As a matter of fact, Kosova has provided the 3-5% Serbian minority within Kosova, the priviledge of enjoying way more freedoms & rights then any other country on earth that also have minority ethnic groups.
The democratic world has been in Kosova for the past 14 years, had the Serbian claims actually been fact, they would never have allowed it! The democratic world have observed first hand, that the actuall culprit causing instability in this part of Europe, its been radical Serbia all along! I'm not saying that Serbia's entire population is to blame, but many of the past & to a large extent the current political leadership within the government of Serbia are, and continue to be intent in creating instability in the Balkans! The dream of somehow creating a greater Serbia at the expense of other ethnic groups still lives in the mind of many of these radicalized Serbs!
