BELGRADE -- A 35-woman, identified as Slađana A., was killed in a traffic accident near Kragujevac, in central Serbia, late on Sunday.

The police said that a total of five persons sustained injuries in the accident.
The driver of the Peugeot has been held on suspicion that he was speeding when he crashed into the other car, thus committing a grave act against traffic safety, the police said.
The suspect was also lightly injured in the crash.
A total of four traffic accidents happened in Novi Sad overnight, resulting in the death of a 30-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a car in the early hours of Monday.
Three more persons were injured in the accidents, the authorities have said.
