1. Questioner points out that it was not defimation because it was fair comment. Questioner is legally correct, it is not a slur against someone to print something that happened. If a privacy law has been violated, the media outlets should have been sued for that.

Koko's comment on the other hand is an example of defemation; that is when you print a scurrelous comment to harm someone's dignity and reputation. It is particularily tasteless to blame someone's family, and the town they live in for a childs suicide. Koko I don't understand what kind of darkness drove you to write this, but I urge you to evaluate what kind of person you want to be. I also urge you to consider that you are not helping the causes that you support by engaging in this sort of smut.

  2. "TV Apatin and Apatin-based Radio Dunav were sued for defamation by the family of a girl who had committed suicide."

So the family pushed the child to kill herself, and now the same insane family wants to push others not to say anything bad about them!?

What kind of mentally damaged people live there?

  3. "He said that the disputable reports on suicide did not violate the Journalists’ Code and that they broadcast information whose accuracy was confirmed."

So, what exactly has been reported? How could it be 'defamation'? Have the real name being unveiled?

  4. This tragic suicide was a personal matter, and not one to be exploited by the media for cheap sensationalism and public exposure. I applaud the court verdict.
