Average salary in May lower than in previous month

BELGRADE The Serbian Statistical Office on Tuesday reported the May net salary of RSD 41,821 (EUR 363), Beta news agency reported. This is a real and nominal fall of 10.1 percent compared to April. Average salary in May lower than in previous month The offcie said in a statement that the average salary, taxes and dues included, was RSD 57,921 (EUR 502) in May - 9.8 percent down against April. The statistics authority says that the May net salary was 5.9 percent lower than in the same month of 2012 in real terms, and nominally higher by 3.4 percent. In real terms, the gross salary in May 2013 was 6.2 percent lower than the year before, showing a nominal growth rate of 4.8 percent Beta
