BELGRADE A 17-year-old high school student has been arrested on suspicion that he murdered an elementary school's PE teacher on April 23. The victim has been identified as Srecko Ciric. Drug-dealing student kills teacher, "member of drug clan" According to the daily Blic, Ciric was previously "known to the police" as a member of a local narco-clan operating in the Belgrade neighborhood of Borca. The student, R.C., "was buying drugs from the teacher, and dealing drugs for him," the daily wrote. Srecko Ciric was brought in by the police last year, but since no evidence was found that he was involved in drug dealing, "he was free to continue working unimpeded" at an elementary in Padinska Skela, near Belgrade. He was also a coach in a karate club, and the locals described him as having been "popular among the children." According to the daily Blic, Ćirić was previously "known to the police" as a member of a local narco-clan operating in the Belgrade neighborhood of Borča.

The student, R.Ć., "was buying drugs from the teacher, and dealing drugs for him," the daily wrote.
