ZAGREB The Belgrade Philharmonic performed at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb on Monday evening before "a packed audience," Tanjug reported. Croatian President Ivo Josipovic, Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic and numerous public figures attended the concert. Belgrade Philharmonic performs in Zagreb Noting that the Belgrade Philharmonic “broke the ice” in a way by the last year's very successful concert as part of the regional project “Pika-Tocka-Tacka”, Director of the Zagreb Philharmonic Miljenko Puljic voiced expectation that “this year, the guests will drown in the beautiful music.” In a statement to Tanjug, Director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Ivan Tasovac underlined that he was looking forward to another visit and opportunity for a successful concert. “I am glad that the project is acquiring new dimensions and expanding to Mostar (Bosnia-Herzegovina), where the Zagreb, Slovenian and Belgrade philharmonic orchestras organized the festival of chamber music “The Philharmonic Week” as part of the Spring of Mostar. Serbian diplomats in Zagreb, headed by Ambassador Stanimir Vukicevic, also attended the concert. The Belgrade Philharmonic opened the concert with Belgrade Poem by Serbian composer Dragutin Gostuski. The set list also included Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 4, and Rimsky-Korsakov's symphonic suite Sheherazade. (Beta) Tanjug

Noting that the Belgrade Philharmonic “broke the ice” in a way by the last year's very successful concert as part of the regional project “Pika-Točka-Tačka”, Director of the Zagreb Philharmonic Miljenko Puljić voiced expectation that “this year, the guests will drown in the beautiful music.”

In a statement to Tanjug, Director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Ivan Tasovac underlined that he was looking forward to another visit and opportunity for a successful concert.
