Famous Serbian basketball player Predrag Danilović was stabbed with a knife in Belgrade last night and is stable after surgery.

BELGRADE Famous Serbian basketball player Predrag Danilovic was stabbed with a knife in Belgrade last night and is stable after surgery. Belgrade’s Emergency Center Director Zlatibor Loncar told B92 that Danilovic had been admitted on Saturday morning with serious injuries to his stomach, head and hands. Ex-basketball player stabbed in Belgrade According to him, the famous basketball player underwent surgery and is now in stable condition. Serbian Police Director Milorad Veljovic told a press conference on Saturday that Danilovic had been stabbed in a restaurant. “The police are investigating how the conflict broke out and what caused it,” he explained. Danilovic was born in 1970 in Sarajevo. As a member of the Yugoslav national basketball team he won four European championships and a silver Olympic medal.
