  2. Everyone keeps saying Dacic is a traitor, he recognized Kosovo, violated constitution etc, etc,
He was appointed by the President to negotiate in Brussels, when crunch time came the govt met and more were sent to the table, ie, Vucic and others. The govt held many many high level meetings. Dacic did not go to Brussels as a lone soldier and make deals. But then when a deal was made, he only initialed it and then the Serbian govt is the one that finalized the agreement.
So if you dislike the agreement it is time to stop saying Dacic this and that but blame your entire govt, THEY made the decisions.

  3. Dačić said the Serbs from northern Kosovo "realize the majority of Serbian citizens accept the Brussels agreement, as opinion polls have shown," and that the government cannot allow someone to drag the whole country "deeper into disaster."

As if there's a bigger disaster than a government that accepts self-mutilation and turns against a portion of its own citizens. And for what? Some hollow american and european promises about a better life which is imminent and a date for some talks that guarantees nothing concrete. Have a referendum now! That's the only valid opinion poll. And it's the only way that people like Dacic can save their face.

  4. If the majority of Serbs were for his agreement then he would do himself a favor to have it confirmed by the referendum. Then he could hide himself behind "people's will". If he acts now without a referendum and surenders Kosovo which is a treason under the constitution, he is opening himself to trouble in the future.

  5. If I were Albanian, I wouldn't like that Serbia signs this agreement. I would be for rejection as this would put Serbia to path of destruction. In these regards, I would like some anti-Serb posters to explain me why they are in favour of agreement?
    (Kole, 30 April 2013 21:15)

As an Albanian this would be the best time for Serbia to reject this agreement. It would serve our interests much better then if they had refused when they were meeting in Brussels. We would advance our cause much more as Serbia would be isolated and be made a pariah.

As the deal is currently, we don't gain anything. Its basically a reading of the reality on the ground. So while we don't gain anything I guess its ok for most people because it legitimates what currently is happening today on the ground.

Serbia would be doing us a great favor if they reject this deal now.

    ===…==

Opinion polls are not a referendum. Like I always say, you can get a desired result from an opinion poll just by asking the question the right way and asking that question of the right demographic.
Dacic is going to ram that agreement down everyone's throat with total disregard for what the people want.
He could be creating a disaster.

  8. Nikolic as well said that documents which violate the Constitution cannot be implemented.
But this was when he still was running his campaign for becoming president.

I remember another guy who during his campaign was talking about red lines becoming rose. He's a PM today, and the red lines became green.

Constitutional court is in deep sleep. So much about independence of the judiciary. Curiously, EU doesn't complain this time.

  9. He said the government has mechanisms to implement the agreement, it can stop paying salaries, thus shutting down "parallels institutions" - but added that "it wants to reach at least the minimum agreement with the Serbs from the north."

Well , Ivica what are you waiting for? If it was that easy he would not have even spoke to the Serb delegation. You see Ivica is afraid that if they go down this path without consensus from all parties and after implantation of any agreement the outsiders decide to continue to try and implant their original plans of completely breaking up Serbia, all Ivica can expect is a rope on the nearest tree.

Accept this agreement and Vojvodina is next on the agenda and that is guaranteed.

  11. "Parallel institutions"? If Serbian self government in Kosovo are parallel, then what about Serbian representation from Kosovo? Is that a parallel institution too? There is no more argument to be made. Dacic has agreed to recognize Kosovo as an independent state and has violated the Serbian constitution and should be removed from government

  13. All Dacic has to say is "in as much as he wishs ethnic Serbs participate in his government unfortunately the 10 million Serbs in the diaspora are exempt from voting since their physical residency outside of Serbia proper disqalifies them."

IN OTHER WORDS KOSOVAR-SERBS ARE FOREIGNEERS.

The future of 6 million Serbs in Serbia proper will never be held hostage to 60,000 neighboring former residents.

  14. Kosova Serbs are now accepting of border guards and customs agents so who are they trying to fool? 63% of Serbs explicitly recognize Kosova independence so they know they have no supporters. Serbia just needs to stop acting as their negotiator.

  16. Serbian govnmt has "mechanisms" to implement the deal.

read: we will order the police there (that we have always denied that it is) to arrest and beat enyone who disagrease with the deal.

This is shamefull from Serbian and Kosovar govt.

Why are you forcing people to live in a state they do not want to and it harms no one if they carry on living in Serbia just as they have done for centuries???

Serbian-Kosovar agreement should have been based actually must be based on the borders of 1956. I know now the Serbian nationalists that changed the borders of Kosova in 1956 are eating their fingers but this does not mean that we need to punish innocent Serbs of south Rashka.

This Albanian supports your strugle to live in your own country Serbia and encourages you to take all other your scumbags with you.

Looks like the people have spoken. Its amazing to read the comments in the Serbian section of B92. The support for the agreement is OVERWHELMING by majority of Serbs. And here we have a few thousand serbs causing trouble in the North. Luckily, they will be pacified once and for all. No more double salaries!! No lawlesness!! Those Kosova Serbs will now figure out that they have to "work" for a living instead of being bandits.

I always knew Serbia would do what is in their interest which is to cut of the Kosova Serbian gangsters. The Balkan Wars started in Kosova with Milosevic's stupid speech and now the wars will end there once and for all.

Congrats Kosovars for putting the final nail in the coffin.
