The entire Serbia/Russia/SNS/SPS connection is worrisome to me, but, the West hasn't really done much for Serbia either, but place demands in the last 10 years. No wonder the Serbs turned Eastward. Strong arm tactics are good at times, but not continuously. Who's policy was this towards Serbia from the west anyway, Clinton's?

  2. To the ordinary Serb citizens, that just want to be able to live a normal quite life, I sure hope for your sake, your government knows what the hell their doing? I think in the long run, this deal is gonna turn around and bite you back viciously!
    Good luck!!!

  3. I have a feeling that the current crop of "bought diploma ministers" in Serbia may not be up to the task of making such a long and crucial energy deal with the Russians. Better have some Western energy experts go over the contract details - it is the Russians after all. But this current crop of commie bootlickers will sign happily, just like when the previous fools gave away NIS.

  4. "Two agreements have been signed on the supply of Russian gas, providing Serbia with full security of supply and a lower price of gas in the next ten years."

Lower? Lower than what? Only lower than the price mentioned in the last agreement from not so long ago (which was MUCH higher than the current gas price on the free market, for example in Austria)? Or lower than the free market price of nowadays?

Anyway a flexible agreement without penalties is good, Ukraine for example suffers from a contract where it was obliged to buy loads of extremely overpriced Russian gas and shall now pay a penalty for buying cheaper gas elsewhere.
