BELGRADE Health Minister Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic says that a parliamentary session on aflatoxin contamination is an opportunity to pass some binding bills. She told Tanjug that it was first necessary to revise the existing bills on food safety and standards, cattle feed, levels of certain toxins in dairy products. Minister: Food standard bills should be revised “Parliament has a supervisory role and it is MPs’ obligation to control the work of ministers and the implementation of the laws they pass and they can also pass certain bills that will be binding,” the health minister explained.
