The government of Montenegro announced on Thursday in Podgorica that it had decided to open an embassy in Kosovo. Montenegro is interested in developing its relations with Kosovo on all levels, said a statement by the government. Montenegro recognized Kosovo as indeendent in October 2008, and ordered the Foreign Ministry to establish diplomatic relations in January 2010.
