B92’s Ljubica Gojgić is the best journalist in 2011 and B92 is the best TV and radio station, according to journalists of more than 40 news desks.

B92’s Ljubica Gojgic is the best journalist in 2011 and B92 is the best TV and radio station, according to journalists of more than 40 news desks. The journalists took part in the 10th poll of Belgrade-based Status magazine. B92 best radio and TV station - magazine poll The journalists selected two B92 shows as the best TV shows, Izmedju dve vatre (Cross Fire) and Utisak nedelje (The Impression of the Week). In the 10th annual Status magazine media poll the journalists also selected the best and the worst journalists and media in Serbia. They selected daily Blic and weekly Vreme as the best newspapers, while Blic was proclaimed the best media site as well. This journalistic year was definitely marked positively by women. Three best Serbian journalists are female journalists - Ljubica Gojgic, the runner-up on the list of the best journalist is TV Vojvodina’s Danica Vucenic, while B92’s Brankica Stankovic is ranked the third. In the category of the best TV stations, the leading broadcaster is TV B92, followed by Prva, while last year’s laureate Studio B is ranked third. In the best TV show category, the journalists selected two B92 shows Izmedju dve vatre (Cross Fire) and Utisak nedelje (The Impression of the Week) while RTS’ Kvadratura kruga is in the third place. The best radio shows are Radio Belgrade’s Budjenje (Waking up), Pescanik (The Hourglass) and Radio Novosti’s Mentalno razgibavanje (Mental Stretching). TV person of the year is B92’s Olja Beckovic, RTS’ Jovan Memedovic (RTS) is ranked second, while Studio B’s Jugoslav Pantelic came third. The best dailies are Blic, Danas and Politika, closely followed by Press, while the best periodical newspapers are Vreme, Status and NIN. The best stories in this year were written by daily Danas columnist Dragoljub Petrovic, weekly Vreme’s Milos Vasic and E-novine’s Petar Lukovic. According to the colleagues’ estimates, a disgrace for the profession is daily Press’ columnist Dragan J. Vucicevic, followed by daily Vecernje novosti’s Manojlo Manjo Vukotic and RTS’ Zika Nikolic. The worst dailies are Alo, Kurir and Pravda, while the worst periodicals are Skandal, Svet and Pecat, the Status magazine poll shows. B92
