EU experts’ preliminary reports positive

Serbian Interior Ministry said Friday that EU expert mission's preliminary reports were generally positive for all areas that were discussed. The mission's task was to check whether Serbia continues to apply standards, regulations and procedures adapted to those applied by EU member states. Areas of the roadmap that were discussed were the security of documents, border management and control of the administrative line with Kosovo, migration management, fight against organized crime and corruption, basic human and minority rights, external relations and fundamental rights, the release says. The mission was carried out by independent experts of EU member states, accompanied by representatives of the European Commission and the EU Delegation in Serbia.
