Russia stated earlier that its stance on Kosovo is unchanged and that it would not recognize Kosovo’s independence. Moscow adds that a solution for the Kosovo problem can only be found through a continuation of negotiations based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244. Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic is expected to participate in the August 3 meeting. Pristina has also stated that its Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni would also participate.
