Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac said that the Srebrenica resolution is a chance for Serbia to choose to accept responsibility for acts committed in its name. Sutanovac, who is also the Vice-President of the Democratic Party (DS), said that voting on the resolution will show who on the political scene “behaves and thinks like a responsible person, and who remains in a time that should be long behind us.” Defense Minister on Srebrenica resolution He said that this will be a key mment in which Serbia will see what parties are honest when they say that they want to adopt a European system of values. “I recognize the handwriting of those that will be against it, because that handwriting is recognizable since the 1990s,” he said. Unlike Srebrenica, which is a question of morality, ethics and emotions, Serbia’s relations towards NATO is a political topic which should not involve emotions, Sutanovac said. He also said that he opposes the opposition's calls for early parliamentary elections, stating that the country would benefit from entering a phase of political development in which the government will work for its entire mandate.
