The leader of the Islamic Community in Bosnia-Herzegovina will be visiting Kosovo August 5-9, it was announced today. Reis-ul-Ulema Mustafa Ceric was invited by the Islamic Community of Kosovo and the Forum of Bosniaks of Kosovo. Bosnia's grand mufti to visit Kosovo A statement from the Islamic Community of Kosovo said that Ceric would also meet with Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu. He plans to visit Bosniaks (Bosnian Muslims) in Prizren and Dragas, and will also address the Forum's gathering dubbed, "Position and suffering of Bosniaks in the region". The event is also expected to be attended by representatives of Bosniak communities from Macedonia, Montenegro, the Sandzak region in Serbia, and Albania. There are some 50,000 Bosniaks in Kosovo, and as many have left the province during the 1990's. Most of them now live in Switzerland and Germany.
