It will become clear in the coming days whether the latest arrest was on the basis of an international warrant issued by Serbia, or whether he committed a new crime. He was released on June 6 from extradition custody in Italy where he was arrested on an Interpol warrant issued by Serbia, where he has a two-year sentence for extortion hanging over him.
The former Zemun Clan member spent over 10 months in custody in Italy, waiting for Serbia to supply the necessary documentation for his extradition. However, when the documents arrived in early June, they were incomplete, and Jovanović was released.
so Ceku was not the first or last to walk away from "incomplete" warants. Now with the ammount of corruption the files sent to Italy were they purposly not complete or is it lack of respect to international organistations?
