Government ministry officials and workers of the Raska textile plant of Novi Pazar adopted on Tuesday in Belgrade seven conclusions. The conclusions are setting precise deadlines for payment of the workers' overdue wages. Strikers, ministry adopt conclusions President of the Association of Textile Workers Zoran Bulatovic said that the strike will not be radicalized in expectation of realization of the conclusions. The workers embarked on a hunger strike last Thursday, and on Friday Bulatovic cut off his own in protest. Agreement was reached after several hours of talks Tuesday on signing contracts on debt conversion with Raska in line with the government conclusion of March 19, 2009. The Privatization Agency, Tax Administration and Economy Ministry also have to secure the pre-conditions for implementation of the proposed social program. The Association of Textile Workers will draw up a list of present and former workers and their requests by May 8.
