President of the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Rasim Ljajic says that Ratko Mladic’s arrest is a key state issue for Serbia. Ljajic told today’s edition of daily Dnevnik that, Hague Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz’s report notwithstanding, Serbia would not receive the green light for ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) with the EU. Ljajic: Mladic arrest key He said that Holland would once again have the final say, reiterating that that country was conditioning SAA ratification with Mladic’s extradition to the Hague. “For Holland, the term ’full cooperation’ means one thing—Mladic in The Hague. The benchmark, therefore, has been set very high and there’s nothing left for us to do that continue activities whose aim is Mladic’s location and arrest. And Hadzic’s too,“ said Ljajic. He said that Holland would once again have the final say, reiterating that that country was conditioning SAA ratification with Mladić’s extradition to the Hague.
