The trial of Vladimir Simovic head of a group “The Family of Serb Supporters”, charged with jeopardizing the security of state officials, has been adjourned. Simovic’s lawyer Miodrag Panjevic has, on behalf of his client, petitioned the Belgrade Fourth District Court to dismiss the court’s deputy prosecutor and acting state prosecutor, thereby necessitating adjournment of the trial until November 24, when the motion will be decided upon. “Enemy of State” poster trial adjourned The request for the prosecutor’s removal will be considered directly by the senior prosecutor, while the High Judicial Council will rule on the fate of the state prosecutor. Simonovic is charged with compromising the security of President Boris Tadic and Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic. He will be tried as president of an organization that, following the signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement, put up posters with photographs of President Tadic and Deputy Prime Minister Djelic, with a message reading “Enemies of the State”.
