Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic says his country will declare itself on the Serbian ICJ resolution as the UN GA meets in October. Belgrade will be asking this UN body to send a request to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to give its opinion about the legality of the Kosovo Albanians' unilateral proclamation of independence. Montenegro won't reveal UN GA vote "The time to declare ourselves will be at the General Assembly of the UN in October. The Montenegrin state as a whole will analyze this issue very carefully, and we don't see any reason to state our opinion before the General Assembly," Vujanovic told VOA in New York. He also revealed that during his recent meeting with Boris Tadic, he told the Serbian president about "expectations of the European Union and NATO partners related to Montenegro's position on Kosovo". "It is only right that the state of Serbia, which is our friend, has the full information that Montenegro is being told very clearly what the expectations are – that in the context of partnership with the EU, the position of the most important EU member states should be respected," Vujanovic was quoted as saying.
