1. No i dont think that Jeremic has change his religion because of Kosova maybe he has find any good job in Malaysia.
I would like to know from Jermic only one thing is he using "Yugonostalgia" to lie those states or what?!
About islam we never said that we was going to use it for recogniton you see it Serbia is using it better than as.
    (DAN, 13 August 2008 19:13)
  2. Wonderful news,

Bravo Mr Jeremic. You are a credit to your office, your government and to the all the people of Serbia who you represent, irrespective of nationality or religion.

    Finally thank you Malaysia.

  3. Serbia has very good relations with a number of moslem states, for example indonesia (200 million pop.), egypt, libya etc. In fact it retains very good relations with most of the SFRY's non-aligned contacts.

Looks like the Serbs aren't anti-moslem after all. They are quite happy to live with moslems, but not to be forced to live under them and to be islamicized, again. 500 years was far, far too much. Never again!

  4. "Not anymore my Slavic friend, everyone knows that the Russians will sell anything for money (watching Georgia lately), and the Greeks, they are lucky EU is not kicking them out.
    (dardan, 11 August 2008 19:57) "

Greece can't be kicked out of the EU, because any such decision would have to be agreed upon by all 27 member states, Greece included.
    (Peter Sudyka, 12 August 2008 10:16)
  5. It was not far away when Jeremic and other serb politicians were accusing Kosova of being muslim terrorists but now it looks like serbs are having the biggest support from muslim countries, so this clearly shows that in fact serbs are the ones who are connected with muslim world, not albnaians.
    (afrim hoxha, 11 August 2008 19:12)

Afrim wasn't it a few months ago your president was lobbying the Arab league for support and you did not recieve any? I guess you forgot that part because the Arab league does not support fair weather muslims. Business is Business.
    (Truth Hurts, 12 August 2008 09:33)
  6. You think so Pijetro, if you ask international community EU and USA all agree with independence of Kosovo even your leaders but is hard for them to accept new reality. Your duty now is to move ahead with integration.
    (Edi, 12 August 2008 09:18)
  7. Good news from south east asia as it joined north east asian nations in defense of international law and serbia’s sovereighty over Kosovo province. Except for japan and south korea who are obviously US puppets and Taiwan which is not a state at all but a province of PROC.
    (Jevic, 12 August 2008 09:17)
  8. The last Malaysian(according to Jeremic) decision is assuring me over the unconscientiously attitude of Islamic countries that is becoming so horsing that isn’t worth to waste a single second on it. And to be honest; I wouldn’t have been so proud with such a support as Jeremic pretends. Because they (Malaysia) will change their mind in the first occasion, when in different circumstances. Thus, if Jeremic agrees to “become” a Muslim, I will change my religion too.
To Tomislav – Russia have started to proclaim and compare Kosovo to Ossetia, think a little about.
    (laki bani, 12 August 2008 08:37)
  9. Must hurt the a Muslim country that does not grant Srbija and Israel visas said NO to Kosovo Muslims.Sorry
    (Jovan z, 12 August 2008 02:00)
  10. Louie, if Albanians don't practice religion why then all those moseques being built with Saudi money?
China doesn't practice religion so one should assume that you have support of China because of that.
I think China is smarter than that and doesn't buy what you are selling.

Now back to Malaysia. Seems like you are calling Malaysia names like Islamists. Do you honestly think that this will make you more appealing to the Muslim world who you are lobbying now for support?
I knew that Malaysia will be next on your list of countries you ridicule because they will not recognize you. Typical.

So Belize is important but Malaysia isn't.
I think you are grasping at straws now.
    (Peggy, 12 August 2008 01:44)
  11. What is the big deal with Jeremic speaking to a Muslim? They are statesmen. Last time I checked Rasim Ljajic is in the Serbian government- isn't he a Muslim.

    Louie:

Why do you Albanians sook about the Turks changing your religion? You changed it to get a better life and exploit Serbs. Ask yourself why didn't the Serbs change their religion? Stop blaming others and dig deep into yourself.
    (Milan, 12 August 2008 01:33)
  12. What a coincidence!!!
A Serb negotiating with a Muslim!!!
A lot of outsiders say that the war in Kosovo started because of religion and now...
I for one take religion as a hobby!
    I believe in GOD,that's it!

Conflicts in Balkans where not religion related!
Some of the nations where greedy, they wanted all!

We had Turks for 500 years!
They have changed our religion, our names!
We had Serbs for almost 100 years, they made us leave Kosovo(remember Rankovic)!

Now we have a new state Kosovo,90% Albanians, mainly Muslims, who don't practise the religion!
For us Kosovan Albanians is important nationality,we are first Albanians and then comes religion!
I know it sounds confusing but that's the reality!

We are glad that we can go to Albania for holidyas!
I remember times that if you mention name "Enver Hoxha" you would go 60 days in prison!

I live in London now for some time.I was here when all the bad times happened in Kosovo!
I am very happy that I have lived this moment,to hold a British Passport and a Kosovan Passport!
    Don't get me wrong,nothing personal,I DON'T HATE SERBS!!!
I just want them to understand that times have changed, they have to move on!
    Gezuar and Ziveli!
    (louie, 12 August 2008 00:21)
  13. Hey Ben, why don't you ask Georgian government about their stance on Kosovo??

The rest of the world is watching the Olympics, and nobody really cares..

Just like many posters here, the story keeps going in circles, and we forget that the story header was about.....

    Malaysia...
    (Pijetro, 11 August 2008 23:45)
  14. Ah Beni and Dardan doing damage control. tell me, how will it feel when people blame you guys for the coming global mess????
    (Tomislav, 11 August 2008 22:38)
  15. Could be interesting a comment on the Russian Invasion of South Ossetia by the always fast speaking Serbian Fm...No ?
    (Luigi, 11 August 2008 16:57)

    Excelent point Luigi!

B92 please ask your- Serbian Gov.t which is their stance on Gerogian war ;)

  18. Ah, you Albanians are still at it. Country watching and keeping tabs on every recognition and grasping for hope. Two countries that matter- Russia and Greece. Russia= no UN, Greece= no EU. just ask the Macedonians about that one, who by the way have something you don't- statehood. After Russia showed it was serious in Georgia, your recognition numbers will grind to a halt. So please, spare us with your number counts and justifications...

  20. "Malaysia freezes recognition procedure"

    Real headline: "Islamists support Serbia"
    (Dashnori i Ceces, 11 August 2008 17:37)
  21. First meeting since 1991...

I remember in 2005, when one of my Serbian friends had use his Croatian passport in order to apply for Malaysian visa. Since Malaysia did not recognize neither Serbian passports nor the state itself...

A great improvement, I must say, Malaysia is a beautiful, stable, multi-ethnic country!
    (TS, 11 August 2008 17:28)
  22. Are Albanians lobbying like the Serbs are? I hear they all went on their summer vacation
    (W.Philmore, 11 August 2008 17:26)
  23. Kosovo now is independent and clearly we can conclude that Yugoslavia is dead and can not come back to live again so I have an advise for Serbia :to start the procedure for recognition of Kosovo Independence.
    (Edi, 11 August 2008 17:16)
  24. or "Islamists back Serbia"

how is that for a headline?

  26. Push on Mr Jeremic, good things are happening!
If you managed to make progress with country such as Malaysia, considering its stance on Serbian citizens, you can make equal and better progress elsewhere too.

America has the might, but we have the right!
    (BKK, 11 August 2008 16:45)
  27. I heard also that Jeremic agreed to become Muslim, but want the affair to remain private for now.
