Špirić to return to Council of Ministers

Nikola Spiric is once again the SNSD’s candidate for the Bosnian Council of Ministers, says Milorad Dodik. Dodik, the leader of the Union of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD), told a press conference that the majority of Bosnia’s political parties supported Spiric’s candidature, and that confirmation of his selection was now just a technical matter. Spiric to return to Council of Ministers Spiric resigned from his post as president of the Bosnian Council of Ministers after High Representative Miroslav Lajcak introduced measures to change the decision-making process within that institution on October 19. Dodik announced that a meeting would take place between representatives of Bosnia’s six governing parties and High Representative Miroslav Lajcak today near Banja Luka, tthe subject of which would be police reforms and the Constitution, as well as the formation of a new Council of Ministers.
