1. It doesn't say that the monument is dedicated to all, only all victims of the NATO bombings. The fact that politics can't be separated from ethnicity is the root of a lot of problems in the region.

  2. Adding the names of all the Albanian victims would have made the monument way more expensive right?

  3. Thats like saying Britain should erect a big Nazi memorial site to go with those killed in the Blitz.
    (Vuk, Wednesday, 27 June, 2007, 17:12)

The fact is that Croatia has monuments and celebrations dedicated to the NAZI Puppet and Murderer Ante Pavelic.

  6. Unfortunately, the rest of the world has little interest in Serbian victims nor in the people who carried out crimes against Serbs.

So I support the Serbs who remember their own. They stand alone, have few if any friends and if they didn't stop to remember their dead, no one would.

The monuments to Croat and Muslim victims are numerous and the media works diligently to make sure we never forget them.

So leave the Serbs alone and let them justly mourn in peace. They have that right.

  7. heuschrecker, if you read the article you would notice that it says that it is for everyone, not just the serbs.

  8. If Serbs are serious about wanting to keep Kosovo, why not dedicate the monument to all those killed in senseless violence, not just Serbs?
