The US is ready to organize the signing of a Belgrade-Pristina agreement modeled on the signing of the peace agreement between Israel and Egypt in 1978.

According to him, the letters sent by US President Donald Trump to presidents of Serbia and Kosovo Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci came as "some sort of support to the peace process." He added that it was "a slap of sorts to those who are slowing that down."
Dacic also said that the US leadership change resulted in the Kosovo issue no longer being considered done.
The minister recalled that he was one of a few who spoke about the delimitation as a possible solution, when nobody was allowed to talk about it and when it was not popular to talk about it.
"Today I think that this is the only real possibility for a quick solution, on the other hand, this solution respects the interests of both the Serb and the Albanian people, and third, the US administration's approach has changed, with the change of the president and his closest associates, leading to the issue of Kosovo not being considered done and solved," Dacic said.
