The Serbian president said that this was "the most beautiful thing that can be heard and something our people want to hear."

The president congratulated Cvijanovic on getting elected, and wished her great success in her future work in that office.

"I wish to you to protect the RS as its president, that the people and citizens of the RS are satisfied, happy, richer, but also more joyful, to be at home in their home," said Vucic, during the open part of the meeting.

He also said that Serbia would always respect the Dayton Peace Agreement, any decision that the three BiH peoples reach by consensus, an the integrity of BiH and of the RS within BiH.

"With the RS, I don't have to say all the thing that connects us, we belong to the same nation, but I think that we should look to the future, how to accelerate our development, and build economic cultural and all other relations, from infrastructure connections to more investments, and I believe that we will, a we have done in the past, but that this time at an accelerated pace we will have more success," the president said.

He told Cvijanovic that as the president of the RS, she can expect even more help from Serbia thanks to, above all, the country's good economic results.

"We will know how to and try to be a strong support for the RS, just like you wished," the Serbian president said.
